How we started
The story of Lourença Stays began in 2018, when Jorge Pereira and Teresa Maia decided to restore the family’s old watermill — the heart of what is now Quinta Lourença.
What started as a simple dream became the first soulful retreat: the Watermill, a symbol of harmony between tradition, nature, and comfort.
Since then, every new house has been created with the same purpose — to offer authentic and welcoming spaces where every detail matters and every stay becomes a lasting memory.
